Regular oil changes are essential for keeping your car in the best possible condition. A good quality oil will help keep your car’s moving parts cool and well-lubricated. Over time, dirty and contaminated oil can build up, causing corrosion and decreasing engine life. Our oils

Oil tips

In petrol engines, the oil should be a light yellow-brown. Dark and dirty oil needs to be replaced.

How often?: The amount of time between oil changes depends on your car model, the oil you use and how often you drive. As a general rule, oil should be changed every 5,000-15,000km and at least once a year - but check your owner manual for your brand’s recommendations.

Check oil levels: Open your car bonnet and check your oil levels every two weeks. The oil level should come between the minimum and maximum levels on the dipstick - if it’s low, top it up.

Watch out for the oil light: Newer cars may have an oil replacement light to remind you when it’s time for an oil change. If not, other signs to look out for include increased engine noise and a smoking exhaust.
