Dubai Police and ENOC Group join forces to enhance EV knowledge and officials safety

Dubai Police and ENOC Group have collaborated to enhance the knowledge and safety of Dubai Police officials when responding to electric and hybrid vehicle accidents. ENOC Group's AutoPro Academy, a subsidiary focusing on vehicle service and maintenance, conducted a two-day training program for 22 Dubai Police officials. The program, titled 'IMI International Level 1 Award in Electrical/Hybrid Vehicles Awareness,' equips responders with the skills to safely handle electric and hybrid vehicles involved in road accidents, reducing the risk of further incidents.

The initiative aims to enhance the safety of both officials and the public, providing training in line with international standards and recommendations from car manufacturers. Successful completion of the training is mandatory for obtaining the International Competence Certificate from the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). Dubai Police will also offer additional courses to fulfill specific needs and expand services through the 'On-The-Go' initiative. This collaboration underscores the commitment to increasing safety awareness among first responders and the general public.
