Emissions testing
As part of our diagnostics services, we will run a full emissions test on your vehicle to
ensure that it meets UAE air quality regulations and emissions standards set by the RTA
and ESMA. If any problems arise, our experts can offer the best
solution to repair your
engine and get you back on the road.
At AutoPro, we measure the following emissions:
● Hydrocarbons (HC): Must be less than 800 ppm (parts per million)
● Carbon Monoxide (CO): Must be less than 4.5%
● K value (smoke density): less than 3.5 m-1 (with turbo), or 2.5 m-1 (without turbo)
● Smoke: White, black or blue smoke indications various system failures which need to be addressed
